George Takei presents us with an interesting poll:

I love this man more than words can explain, and this is just one of the many reasons why.
He isn’t afraid to stand up for people who don’t have a voice and he’s got intelligent ways of doing so.

“After an incident of really bad gay sex”
Hahahahaha!

Brilliant. “Straights should be allowed to marry anyway”

“Shit Straight Girls Say…. to Lesbians”

This hit the nail on the head! Hilarious!

Ani DiFranco, “But I always have and still do consider myself queer. To me, being queer isn’t who you’re sleeping with; it’s just an idea that sexuality isn’t gender-based, that it’s love-based.”

Gay writer Tennessee Williams (1911–1983), in A Streetcar Named Desire:

“What is straight? A line can be straight, or a street, but the human heart, oh, no, it’s curved like a road through mountains.”

Betty White, “I don’t care who anybody sleeps with. If a couple has been together all that time - and there are gay relationships that are more solid than some heterosexual ones - I think it’s fine if they want to get married. I don’t know how people can get so anti-something. Mind your own business, take care of your affairs, and don’t worry about other people so much.”

Ani Difranco, ‘In or Out’ (see previous post…) Amazing lyrics.

“Somedays the line I walk turns out to be straight
Other days the line tends to deviate
I’ve got no criteria for sex or race
I just want to hear your voice
I just want to see your face”

Siouxsi Sioux, “I’ve never particularly said I’m hetero or I’m a lesbian. I know there are people who are definitely one way, but not really me. I suppose if I am attracted to men then they usually have more feminine qualities.”

Chyler Leigh… with Mia Kirshner, “The way I approach the character isn’t about being gay or straight. It’s just about who you love. Gender has very little to do with it.”

Ellen DeGeneres, “I was raised around heterosexuals, as all heterosexuals are, that’s where us gay people come from… you heterosexuals.”

Kate Nash, “I would never say ‘I’m straight, I’m bisexual, I’m gay.’ I feel like I will fall in love with a human being for who they are. I’m not afraid to say I’ve been attracted to a woman before and I’ve kissed girls before and been in love with them before.”

WHAT THE FRIGGIN’ NORA?

A spin-off of the web phenomena that is "Lesbians who look like Justin Bieber", this blog is pretty much exactly the opposite...

So, this blog started off as a joke - it’s nothing against the Bieb, just simply that not every lesbian looks like him… In fact, what happened was the more we searched for new posts, the more we discovered that there’s a lot of encouraging, inspiring & sexy stuff out there!

We’re just sharing what we buzz off. Here we have a celebration of the time we live in. It’s a sneaky peek into open closets from the past and the present. It’s also become a place to share triumphs of our community, the highs and lows of our generation (mostly the highs) and just generally brilliant and important stuff relating to all things gay.

If you have any questions, please ask. If you have any suggestions, please make them known. If you have any revelations, please reveal. If you want to share, please open up. You are amazing and this is for you.
